Paris(but not only)  Personal Tours

The "Estérel massif" is a jewel known (but quite often underappreciated) by the locals. it was formed from volcanic eruptions 270 million years ago (you know, from the time when there was only one continent and dinosaurs didn't exist yet). How could such an amazing natural wonder spreading over 79,000 acres with landscapes worthy of both the Wild West and the African savannah go almost unnoticed in most guidebooks? The answer is: I don't know! The thing is that if you spend a couple days in Nice, one day in Antibes, one day in Cannes, one day in Monaco + the day you arrive + the day you leave = it's been a week already... You can honestly reduce the program just quoted (trust me for that) and include at least half a day for an excursion inside the Estérel Massif. Why? Because nothing beats natural beauty.

Of course, on our way to Cannes, Nice or Monaco, we will take the Corniche d'or, the road which follows the massif along the sea and just that is amazing, but why deprive yourself of an immersive hike and from discovering/understanding how nature has evolved and adapted itself to the land and to the climate to become what it is?

For this kind of excursion, even though I have enough knowledge (and credentials) to guide and inform you, I honestly don't come close to the nature guide I will provide for you if she's available (she should be if we book her in advance). This woman will amaze you (as she always amazes me) with her knowledge of the natural flora and fauna. And if you have kids they will love her. She only has one flaw (that I know of): her English is not very good... but that's where I come in!

With no painful physical effort (provided you wear sneakers and you don't mind walking), this excursion (which can include at your demand the visit of a medieval village), by clearing your mind and enriching your senses, will be one of the highlights of your trip!

Please look at the pictures below taken from one of the hills, they are worth a thousand words!
