You know what? I calculated that if you wanted to do all the Paris Tours I offer, you would need 12 days in a row!
If you add the outside Paris Tours, you can add another 20 days!
And with the countryside and Riviera Tours, it's another two weeks or more.
All together, we would need over two months of full-day activities: I'll be darned!
Obviously, with or without me, choices will have to be made when you visit France...
That's why I suggest that you do what you do in a restaurant when there are too many dishes to choose from on the menu: you stick to the Chef's specials!
My self-declared specialties are simply the tours that bring out the most passion in me.
The ones that hold the most interest for me, the ones that I did the most research for,
and therefore the ones that I take the most pleasure in conducting.
That's why they're the ones where I consider to be at my very best.
I made the choice not to include the Louvre, Versailles and a few others to the list below because, even though they also are big specialties of mine (I know the main parts backwards) and even though I do love their collections, those museums are generally way too crowded, too noisy, too badly organized and with too many restrictions
(special bookings with obligatory, pricy and difficult-to-get authorizations to speak) (my 2026 editorial says it all).
And that's without mentioning the numerous mornings where they remain closed because of surprize strikes!
That's why I don't mention them; because I'd rather not go to those two museums and do any other tour
on this page instead! And I can easily find you another excellent guide for those blockbuster museums if needed.
About my specialties / signature tours
Inside Paris
Outside Paris Full-day tours
This intense and thorough visit will make sure that you never look
at the works of Rodin with the same eyes again.
This tour can easily be combined in a half-day
with Napoleon's tomb next door.
This is another intense and thorough visit of a small museum dedicated to another immensely powerful thinker!
Because Victor Hugo's private life was even more incredible
than his fictional stories!
This tour can easily be combined with a visit of the Marais.
This cemetery is more than a cemetery.
It's a unique place between heaven and earth...
Follow me down the small alleys. I'll take you see the tombs of famous people like Oscar Wilde, Edith Piaf, Jim Morrison, Gertrude Stein, Isadora Duncan, Sarah Bernardt, Chopin, Corot, David, Delacroix, Ingres, Modigliani
and many others...
This cathedral is one of the big loves of my life.
It's decorated with 3500 sculptures and 26,000 sq ft
of stained glass. I won't describe all but close! This tour is for those of you who are looking for a mind-boggling experience!
This tour can easily be operated by train from Paris.
The Maintenon castle is a little gem of a chateau!
This tour gives you a bit less of Chartres but it offers
more diversity and it's one of my favourite tours!
After a two and a half hours visit of the cathedral in the morning,
we can go back after lunch to the cathedral for a while
(it all depends on your thirst for knowledge) or go directly
to visit the Chateau de Maintenon. You decide!
Customized tour only operated by car (or minivan; with extra driver).
In depth Monet and Van Gogh in one day: does it get any better than this?
Visit the house & garden of Claude Monet in the morning
and Van Gogh's last haunt and burial place in the afternoon.
Customized tour only operated by car (or minivan; with extra driver).

Those two beautiful palaces are a little bit far to be run as half-day tours from Paris but, as they are only 14 miles away from each other, they work very well together on a full-day tour with a car.
Customized tour only operated by car (or minivan; with extra driver).
Another small museum with incredible collections.
This tour can easily be combined with a visit of the Latin Quarter and/or Notre-Dame and/or Sainte-Chapelle.
We can easily spend the whole day here. Because there are a lot of grounds (indoors and outdoors), a lot of paintings (second biggest collection in France after the Louvre!), a lot of furniture and objects with incredible stories to be told!
Customized tour operated by car (or minivan; with extra driver).
This tour can also be operated by train from Paris if you don't mind walking
1.5 mile = 35 mn from the station to the castle
(but we can also order a taxi to wait for us at the station).
Yes, there are TWO Rodin museums in Paris!
Well, technically, this one is a couple miles outside Paris.
I admit that it's not as important as the other one listed above but,
if you're a Rodin aficionado (and if you're not, you'll soon become one
after you've followed me at his museum in Paris 😇) this tour is made for you!
Customized tour only operated by car (or minivan; with extra driver).
I used red letters to get your attention and to make sure that
you wouldn't miss this very unusual excursion! This dog cemetery was the first of its kind. Created in 1898, it holds the tombs of over 40.000 animals, and not only dogs (you'll be surprized!).
Customized tour only operated by car (it can be a taxi or an Uber).
It's only 2 miles outside Paris North but count 30 mn drive
from Opera Garnier. We can spend 45 mn to one hour on location. This tour can easily be an extra and last stop on the way back from the Chantilly castle, the Rodin museum in Meudon or Giverny!

Now we're talking!
But hold on a minute, there's one more thing that I need to tell you before I give you my A-list...
OK then, here's what I have in mind that will speak to your mind:

Slow tourism at its best: a walk (with benches) through a beautiful park (my favorite in Paris) then we'll admire an incredible number of gorgeous buildings built by famous people who had amazing good taste and wit.
This walk about town is about beauty, elegance and class.
This tour can easily be combined with a visit of the Jacquemart-André museum or the Nissim de Camondo museum.
