Whichever option you choose, you will have a very good introduction to the city in general. And if you decide to continue on your own, I will have made sure that you know where to go and how to get there for the next few days.
But public transportation is not recommended these days (too many people, too little trains), and if you want to cover all the sites in one day, you will prefer this tour:
