Paris  Personal Tours

Where the artists (mostly writers) migrated to during and after the second world war. Most of the cultural places have been replaced by famous deluxe brand shops, the cafés are extremely expensive, but it is still a very pleasant and elegant area to walk around with beautifully preserved streets. And it's the only area in Paris where you don't find any fast food, kebab or Starbucks café, which makes it like a garden of Eden to me!

Depending on your motivations, we can spend about one hour there. I like to finish my tours there and I recommend that you spend a bit more time on your own at a terrace of one of the famous cafés and you play the local game of "to see and to be seen"...

Saint-Germain-des-Prés is also the area where you find the most famous chocolate shops (even though they now all have several addresses in Paris so you never have far to go to indulge yourself).
