This area has been a Jewish district since the 13th Century. The religious shops have almost all been replaced by fashion shops but the Jewish community still makes it very lively. The heart of the district is the "rue des Rosiers".

This area can be seen in 30 mn and is easily included in the visit of the Marais.

Possibility of visiting the Shoah Memorial (add 20 mn).

Some of you might also be interested in visiting the Memorial of the Deportation (which was recently renovated) at the back of the cathedral Notre-Dame.
