Here below is a scan of an original hand-colored print taken in Deauville in 1937 which I miraculously found at the Flea Market the day I went to take pictures for this website. In fact, this picture appears on the table I bought it from on the last picture of my Flea Market page (in case you want to check it out). I had it framed and it's now hanging on one of the walls of my flat in Saint-Raphael.

Now, notice the woolen trunks!

I can't believe this picture was taken in 1937! Ten years AFTER the pictures where Hemingway and Picasso were seen wearing "sexy" outfits on the Riviera. I am so embarrassed to be French right now...
