Congratulations!

While visiting the Louvre, it's difficult not to notice all the beautiful bottoms, breasts and penises in the Greek & Roman sculptures sections or the nudes displayed on many paintings. Some years ago I had a special request from a couple who wanted a visit of the masterpieces of the Louvre without confrontation with any nudity AT ALL because of their teenage granddaughter whose innocence they wanted to preserve… and I almost pulled it off (except for the Venus de Milo and the slaves of Michelangelo). But then I thought: WHAT IF I did a tour with JUST the nudity? I bet some people would be interested (I would!). That's how

I came up with my "Lust at the Louvre tour". Then I told myself (yes, I sometimes speak to myself): what if

I extended the concept to other tours? Then one thing led to another, then you clicked on this page...

The tours you will soon have access to are for people who are open-minded because I will focus your attention on the obvious (or hidden) sensuality (and sexuality) of selected sculptures and paintings.

A history of sexuality through art and through the ages also gives me a good opportunity to talk about

the sexual orientations of some of the artists whose works we see.

The purpose of those tours is not to shock you but to inform, entertain and amaze you with the love affairs, sexual habits and tastes of both common and great people from Ancient Greece until the end of the 19th century. And even though those tours are very (s)explicit, I make it a point never to be vulgar because, as Oscar Wilde (one of my heroes) once said, « vulgarity is simply the conduct of other people ».
