Paris(but not only)  Personal Tours

What about Cannes? I'm not going to make some new friends with this one either...

The thing is: for me, the only interesting things in Cannes are the sandy beaches, the deluxe hotels and the deluxe shops (but there's nothing in the Louis Vuitton shop of Cannes that you won't find in the one in Paris or in Hong Kong). Cannes is famous worldwide because of the film festival, the same way Saint-Tropez is known because of Brigitte Bardot! But where the charm still works in Saint-Tropez for the common mortal that I am,

I feel excluded in Cannes. It's no wonder that Cannes became in 1986 the sister-city of Beverly Hills:

I believe they have both the same prestige and glamour but, if you're not part of it, you see nothing! I guess

Cannes is great if you're a movie-star staying at one of the numerous deluxe hotels during the famous film festival, otherwise the population and the traffic are too dense to feel any kind of charm. It doesn't work for me anyway!

But we can always go there quickly to take a look (and say you've been there) and it's from Cannes

(if not from Saint-Raphael) that we take the boat to go the Sainte-Marguerite Island

and the road to get to Cannes, the Corniche d'or, is simply too beautiful to be missed!
